2021 Senior Spotlight - Yana Batazhan

This YAO violinist plans to find more ways to explore the healing power of music. Today we celebrate Yana Batazhan.

Yana is a graduating Senior from Jefferson County. A member of DYAO for 5 seasons, she belonged to both Conservatory Orchestra and the Young Artists Orchestra.  She is a student of Stacey Brady.  Upon graduating, she plans to attend Belmont University where she will major in Music Therapy.

When asked what DYAO has meant to her, she responded: "An amazing opportunity to play music that is advanced and enjoyable. It gave me an opportunity to grow as a musician and a leader."

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
