St. Martin's Chamber Choir Concert featuring DYAO

St. Martin’s Chamber Choir is joined by the Denver Young Artists Orchestra and the Columbine High School Choir for this poignant performance marking 25 years since the Columbine tragedy. A combination of choral and orchestral works serve as a remembrance, including the commissioning of a new work for the occasion by Colorado composer Leigha Amick.

This is not a DYAO concert, but instead a concert on which DYAO is an invited guest. This concert falls outside of our regularly schedule concerts and is not applicable for free student nor teacher tickets. Must by tickets in advance; no tickets available at the door.
Songs of Strength

Embark on a poignant and evocative musical journey with our Young Artists Orchestra as they present "Songs of Strength", a concert dedicated to the universal themes of love, remembrance, and resilience. Against the backdrop of masterpieces by Mahler, Puccini, and Mendelssohn, this performance transcends the boundaries of time and emotion, creating an unforgettable experience that pays tribute to the human spirit. This concert will feature the winner of the 2024 YAO Concert Competition, a special collaboration with St. Martin's Chamber Choir and the Columbine High School Choir, plus a world premiere performance of a new commissioned piece by DYAO alum Leigha Amick.
To Dance and Dream

Prepare to be enchanted as the vibrant and talented String Ensemble and Conservatory Orchestra invite you to join them in a mesmerizing performance called "To Dance and Dream." This concert is a celebration of the magical synergy between music and movement, featuring a diverse repertoire that spans centuries and styles, from the Baroque brilliance of Bach to the contemporary rhythms of Powell and beyond! This concert will feature the 2024 String Ensemble and Conservatory Orchestra Concerto Competition Winners.
