Young Artists Orchestra Virtual Concert: Chamber Serenades

Chamber Serenades will feature the Young Artists Orchestra divided into several chamber ensembles, as well as the Conservatory Orchestra wind, brass, and percussion ensembles. They will be performing Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Novelletten, Igor Stravinsky’s Symphony for Wind Instruments, and Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, to name just a few. The concert will also feature the winners of the 2020 YAO Wind Concerto Competition: Tori Rogenrud (flute) and Hana Flood (piccolo), playing Charles Griffes’ Poem for Flute and Orchestra and Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Piccolo, respectively.

The 2020-2021 season is presented thanks to the generosity of SCFD and the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation. Chamber Serenades is sponsored by CoBank, Investment Trust Management, and RBC Management.
