"Well, now, my bumblebee, go on a spree!" In nature, the light and shadows are always forming complex shapes, textures, patterns and colors. I try to capture these elements in my paintings. With paint and brush, I also add strong graphic contrast and careful detail to the very special moment in time.
Tanis Bula is the owner of an award-winning graphic design firm in Denver. As a watercolor artist, her work has received recognition at the local, national and international level though numerous awards and honorariums. In 2004, she was recognized as a Signature Member of the Rocky Mountain National Watercolor Society. From 2000-2002 she traveled to Japan to present and sign her work in a series of one-woman shows. Additionally, her work and career was featured in the 2002 winter issue of Watercolor magazine. Ms. Bula currently teaches art classes at the Grant Village Center.
