Title: Fiddle-Faddle

I think my work has different levels to which people can respond. The first response is overall-they see the work as colorful and eye-catching. The second look allows the viewer to see expressions on the work that evoke emotion. Lastly, they see the details, the "found objects" that make up the surface. I try to give people a lot to see and discover in my work.

After 25 years as a commercial artist Kathleen switched gears to pursue a career in fine art. Over the past several years she has worked full time creating masks and sculpture from organic material and found objects. Kathleen has shown her work in museums, colleges and local galleries in both solo and group shows. For the past four years, she has participated in The Joy of Sculpture and Sculpture in the Park. Kathleen currently operates her own studio at Nine10Arts in the Santa Fe Art District.
