The Denver Young Artists Orchestra Association consists of five ensembles: DYAO, Conservatory Orchestra North, Conservatory Orchestra South, String Ensemble North, and String Ensemble South. Placement in each ensemble is determined by audition and, in the case of Conservatory Orchestra and String Ensemble, geographic region. Tuition and age range for each ensemble is:
DYAO (ages 12 - 23) $550*

String Ensemble (ages 8 - 13) $400*

2011-2012 Audition Materials
Late Audition Results
Late audition applicants will be notified of their audition results by mail in mid-August, 2011. Audition results will not be given over the phone. Placement in DYAO, Conservatory Orchestra (North/South), and String Ensemble (North/South) will be determined by the audition committee. All decisions are final.
Membership Requirements
In addition to the guidelines set forth in the DYAO member handbook, all DYAO members are required to be actively taking private lessons as well as participating in their school music program.
Financial Aid
